PRIVACY POLICY

General provisions

This Privacy Policy applies to individual’s personal data that collected via EPPS portal, and does not apply to personal data, collected from data subjects on the basis of other services provided by EPPS d.o.o.

Personal data, according to General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Processing of personal data

EPPS d.o.o. as a data controller, collects the following individual's personal data that the individuals enter in the EPPS portal when they open their user account:

  • Username
  • Name
  • Surname
  • E-mail address
  • Tax ID
  • Telephone number (optional)

By entering the data into the user account, the data subject consents to the processing of his personal data for the purpose of providing an access to the user’s account.

Documentation uploaded to the EPPS Portal

There may be personal data contained in the documentation that is uploaded to the EPPS portal. EPPS d.o.o. does not review these data and processes them solely for the purposes of the execution of the order (printing, enveloping, etc.).

The period for which the personal data is stored

We store personal data that a customer enters into his user account until the moment erasure of the account by the user. After the account is deleted the personal data of the individual are permanently erased.

EPPS d.o.o. keeps the data provided by the individual for the execution of his order for the purpose of resolving complaints for the maximum of 60 calendar days after the completion of the processing, or for a different period of time in so far as this is specifically agreed in the contract with the customer. After this period the data is permanently erased.

Rights of the data subject

In relation to the personal data collected and processed by the EPPS d.o.o. on the basis of the purposes set out in point Processing of personal data of this Privacy Policy, the individual shall have the following rights:

  • Right of access
  • Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
  • Right to rectification
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to object
  • Right to data protability

The data subject may exercise his data subject rights by sending a written request to the Data Protection Officer of EPPS d.o.o. to the following e-mail address: epps@posta.si.

If the data subject considers that he has been infringed on any of his data subject rights he has the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Subcontractors

The maintenance of the EPPS portal is the sole responsibility of EPPS d.o.o. whereby the company does not cooperate with any subcontractor. Personal data transmitted via the EPPS portal to EPPS d.o.o. are accessible only to the authorized employees of the company.

Protection of personal data

Individual’s personal data stored and protected in accordance with the rules governing personal data protection, and will not be disclosed to third parties, unless so provided by law or other regulation valid in the Republic of Slovenia.

We have the prescribed procedures and measures in place to protect personal data and to prevent its unauthorised processing.

Validity of the privacy policy

This Privacy Policy may be changed or amended without any special notice to the users of EPPS portal. Each Privacy Policy is marked with the version number and the date of its entry into force.
